A fund in memory of Gene Kinasewich has been formally established by friends and colleagues of Gene.  The primary focus of this fund is to provide assistance and help to foster cultural exchange and educational opportunity for youth between Ukraine and North America.   Though not intended to focus on hockey alone, the first project undertaken by the fund is to assist players from the current under 18 team to find educational and hockey opportunities in North America for the 2005-2006 school year.
