Hello, my name is Sergei Sorokolat. I am 18 and I am from Ukraine. It is a very lovely country with beautiful towns and countryside. It is also a young country that is becoming more politically stable. At this moment in the Ukraine there are limited possibilities to realize your potential. Because of this there are many people with a good education who don't have jobs.

I went to public school in the Ukraine and I never thought that I would be able to study in another country, especially in USA. Many people in Ukraine can only dream of having such a big opportunity, and I was one of them. Now I am a fifth form student of South Kent School, which is situated in Southern of Connecticut. It is a very good school with a strong reputation and high education system.

This is a great experience for me. I want to say thank you to all the people who are helping and giving me a chance to have this experience. A special thanks to Gene Kinasewich. He made this opportunity possible and this has helped me to more deeply understand the life perspectives in this country.
